Annual Mammography Does Not Result in a Reduction in Breast Cancer Specific Mortality年度乳房X光检查未降低乳腺癌死亡率
Annual mammography failed to reduce breast cancer mortality compared with physical examination or routine care, according to 25-year follow-up data from a Canadian screening program in 89835 women ages 40 to 59. Overall, 22% (106/484) of screen detected invasive breast cancers were over-diagnosed, representing one over-diagnosed breast cancer for every 424 women who received mammography screening in the trial.
